On Sunday, July 7, more than 300 attendees packed the Parkway’s main theater for a special screening of The Spy Behind Home Plate with Director Aviva Kempner.
After the riveting documentary about Jewish ballplayer and World War II spy Moe Berg, Aviva delved into the genesis of the film, how she separated fact from fiction about Berg’s time with the OSS and the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the intelligence community.
Thanks to Aviva as well as Marvin Pinkert, Executive Director of the Jewish Museum of Maryland, for hosting!
