MICA Film and Animation Festival
The Parkway is pleased to host the Second Annual MICA Film & Animation Festival. A collaboration between Women in Animation at MICA and Empowering Voices in Film, MF&AF was originally designed to bridge the gap between the Film and Animation Departments at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Since its great success last year, the festival has expanded to encompass the works of neighboring universities (including Johns Hopkins, Stevenson, Towson, and UMBC) in an effort to celebrate the diverse array of content young Baltimore-based artists have to offer. The works range from comedy to explorations of personal identity in the forms of both animation and live action.
