The 20th Maryland Film Festival is May 2nd – 6th, 2018

Baltimore’s Station North Arts and Entertainment District!

With over 40 feature films and 10 shorts programs, spanning all genres and drawing works from all over the world –  acclaimed festival favorites and new discoveries.

Whether you’re a film buff or casual moviegoer, The Maryland Film Festival will leave you inspired by the world of cinema.

The Festival hub will be the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway, the 1915 movie house that returned in 2017 as Baltimore’s centerpiece for film appreciation and education.

As always, the Festival will feature a film selected and introduced by legendary Baltimore filmmaker, artist and visionary John Waters. This year: I, Olga Hepnarova

For the 16th year, the Alloy Orchestra comes to the Festival to perform a bold, live, original score to accompany a unique piece of film history. 2018’s selection: A Page of Madness

The Festival is packed with panel discussions and all screenings of North American films are hosted by the artists.

All-Access Passes are on sale to the public for $425, and grant priority admission (up to 15 minutes before showtime) to all screenings and special events, along with the Filmmaker/VIP Lounge

MICA Brown Center Passes are on sale to the public for $100, and grant priority admission (up to 15 minutes before showtime) to all regular screenings in the MICA Brown Center.

Tickets to regular screenings are $13.

Tickets for students and seniors are $11 purchased on-site only.

***Ticketholders must be in line 15 minutes prior to showtime to secure their seats, as standby tickets will go on sale once the theater is loaded***

Presale tickets will be made available online and onsite at the Parkway during business hours in mid-April.

During the festival, available tickets will be for sale online and onsite at the Main Box Office (1901 N. Charles Street) and all screening venues. Please arrive early if purchasing tickets onsite during the festival.

Standby lines will form at the screenings venues.

All box office locations will open one hour prior to the first showtime and close fifteen minutes after the start of the last showtime.

Online sales will close one hour prior to showtime.

PARKING

Parkway and Lazarus Center Parking will be available at public lots and garages located along North Avenue and 20th Street.

Parking for MICA Brown and Gateway will be available on the street along with a public lot located beneath I-83 off Malster Avenue.

If parking in the lot behind 1901 N. Charles Street, please be mindful of payment instructions.
