Described by the New York Times as a “tense, absorbing, pleasurably original look at three days in the life and lies of a doomed monarch,” Benoît Jacquot’s passionate and visually-stunning French drama, FAREWELL, MY QUEEN, explores Marie Antoinette’s relationship with a reader during the final days of the French Revolution. Resident Set Designer Daniel Ettinger (who also designed the sets for THE REVOLUTIONISTS) will introduce the screening and host an informal discussion following the film.

Everyman at the Parkway is a six-part film series presented in partnership with the Maryland Film Festival, bringing influential films to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway in conjunction with Everyman Theatre’s 2017/18 season. THE REVOLUTIONISTS (on stage December 6, 2017 – January 7, 2018) is a bold, brave and blisteringly funny new work set during the French Revolution, about feminism legacy and standing up for one’s beliefs.
