The most essential prom movie – CARRIE- follows Carrie White, a shy, friendless teenage girl who is sheltered by her domineering, religious mother, unleashes her telekinetic powers after being humiliated by her classmates at her senior prom. Based on the novel by Stephen King and directed by Brian de Palma, the film received two Academy Award nominations, one for Sissy Spacek in the title role and one for Piper Laurie as her abusive mother.

 

April 19th at 9:30pm. This screening will be on 35mm!
