Mark Your Calendars
for a New Autumn Tradition at the Maryland Film Festival!
We are thrilled to announce the dates for the 26th annual Maryland Film Festival, set for November 5-9, 2025. Building on the success of our landmark 25th anniversary, this year marks a significant transition as we embrace the vibrant fall season. This move is spearheaded by KJ Mohr, our newly appointed Director of Maryland Film Festival & Year-Round Film Programming at the SNF Parkway Theatre. With a fresh vision for the festival, KJ’s leadership is guiding us toward an expanded five-day celebration that promises more cinematic wonders and engaging experiences.
This strategic shift to the autumn aligns perfectly with the academic calendar, enhancing our interaction with students and educational institutions. It allows us to launch exciting new initiatives, including a student film sidebar designed to showcase emerging talent from local colleges and universities.
