🎞️What to watch next: Get Away

Prepare for a wickedly fun blend of horror, humor, and bloodshed in the Baltimore premiere of Get Away. Written by and starring Nick Frost, this horror-comedy takes the classic "vacation gone wrong" trope to absurd new heights. When a family heads to a remote Scandinavian island, they quickly discover that they’re not just dealing with unfriendly locals—they’re up against a serial killer. Packed with cringe-worthy comedy and folk horror vibes, the film strikes a balance between laugh-out-loud moments and gory thrills. With a sharp cast and a playful twist on genre conventions, Get Away delivers a uniquely chaotic experience. Expect awkward confrontations, bizarre local traditions, and a blood-soaked finale that will keep you on your toes until the very end.

🎞️What to watch next: Things Will Be Different

Making its Baltimore premiere, Things Will Be Different is a haunting, time-bending drama that weaves together themes of regret, family conflict, and second chances. Following two estranged siblings who hide out in a mysterious farmhouse after a botched robbery, the film uses its sci-fi elements to heighten the emotional stakes. Michael Felker’s understated direction builds tension, while Carissa Dorson’s cinematography creates a visually captivating backdrop to this tale of self-reckoning. The slow-burn narrative lingers long after the final scene, offering a thought-provoking reflection on the choices that define us.
