Community of Parting, Special Feature: Jane Jin Kaisen at the SNF Parkway Theatre
Open now through April 10 —the Critical Responses to Anti-Asian Violence (CRAAV) Initiative at Johns Hopkins University and the Center for Advanced Media Studies have partnered to present a special program featuring the multi-media artwork of internationally-renowned artist Jane Jin Kaisen at the SNF Parkway Theatre.

The Baltimore Student Film Showcase is a year-long celebration of student-produced film and video by Baltimore-area middle, high-school, and college-aged artists that take place quarterly throughout the school year.

Throughout Fall 2019, Science and Film will explore the meanings and uses of science and technology in film through guest lectures and discussion of cinematic examples both recent and historic.
August - September 2019
The theme of the festival this year is Access. Festival programs will elaborate on subjects such as Access to Power, Access to Guidance, and Access to Love. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature a shorts program dedicated to Baltimore-made films, including B. Monet’s documentary Ballet After Dark and Antonio Hernadez’s documentary Indelible: Abdu Ali.
Friday’s Opening Night will feature Numa Perrier’s acclaimed film Jezebel.

Beginning July 26th, the SNF Parkway celebrates Stanley Kubrick’s would-be 90th birthday with a retrospective of the master filmmaker’s invaluable contributions to the history of cinema.
