We are very excited to kick off a new monthly screening series at the Parkway with Sweaty Eyeballs Animation! Come celebrate the best of the first 5 years of Sweaty Eyeballs Animation Invitationals with a screening of previous audience choice award winners and curator picks.

The Sweaty Eyeballs Animation Invitational began as the brainchild of animator and Towson University professor Phil Davis as a way to bring unique voices in international and independent animation to a Baltimore audience. Since 2012, Sweaty Eyeballs screenings have showcased an eclectic mix of animated narrative, documentary, music videos, and experimental work pushing the boundaries of art, style, and technology. Starting with this screening, Sweaty Eyeballs will be a monthly event at the Parkway!

This screening includes work by Eirik Gronmo Bjornsen and Anna Mantzaris (Norway), Jean-Charles Mbotti Malolo (France), Alan Holly (Ireland), Nicolas Menard (United Kingdom), Christian Larrave (USA), Sarina Nihei (United Kingdom / Japan), Yoriko Mizushiri (Japan), Špela Čadež (Slovenia), Kirsten Lepore (USA), Jaime Rodriguez (USA), and Andy Kennedy (USA).

Curated by Phil Davis (Towson University) and Max Porter (Maryland Institute College of Art).
